Women's Safety Officers (WSO) work with women victims of domestic violence where the offender is required to attend the Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme. The aim is to ensure the safety of women and children whilst the man is participating in an Integrated Domestic Abuse Programme (IDAP), by offering support and advice. The women are given regular updates as to how the offender is progressing on the programme and may be asked for feedback about his behaviour at regular intervals
