About this key role

As our Team Leader, you will successfully recruit, induct and train new staff members to ensure all staff are prepared and able to succeed in their role, plus motivate and support the team to achieve positive outcomes for service users whilst being responsible for day-to-day line management duties such as regular one-to-ones, appraisals, sickness, absence and continuous professional development.

You will also oversee the quality monitoring of the dispersed staff teams to ensure the most effective service is delivered to our service users and work closely with commissioners and stakeholders to build positive working relationships to ensure the success of the contracts and will support cluster and community services managers with collation and of monthly and quarterly statistical information.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of working with socially excluded young people and adults.
  • Some supervisory experience, but will be supported by their Manager as a step on the career path to a Management role
  • Understanding of child safeguarding and trauma informed approach
  • Experience of project management including co-ordinating activity and liaison with a range of stakeholders to achieve an agreed set of aims and objectives
  • Experience of using support plans to enable young people to successfully access accommodation and support services
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the issues faced by our client group, in particular barriers faced by people with lived in experience.
