RSR Police is a market leading recruitment business dedicated to supporting Blue Light sector organisations with their recruitment services.

We are currently looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join a public sector organisation in Devizes. Experience working within Recruitment/HR is essential. Based in a busy team of seven you will be supporting on a range of different recruitment projects/campaign intakes.

This is a temporary agency assignment for 3-4 months based at Devizes, Wiltshire with the option for some home working, hours at 37 per week (we would consider flexible working, minimum 3 days per week)

Main Responsibilities

Co-ordinate the recruitment process from advert to appointment, for all worker groups

This includes:

•           Reviewing submitted recruitment request paperwork, including adverts and interview questions and providing line managers with support,

•           Setting up and maintaining spreadsheets and systems in order to monitor the progress of applicants,

•           Validating of selection criteria at shortlisting and interview stage, ensuring fairness and equality of the recruitment process,

•           Reviewing all associated letters, paperwork, references and vetting, highlighting any risks and escalating as per policy,

•           Integrating positive action into all recruitment activity through liaison with the ED&I team



•           CIPD Level 3 qualification or demonstrable relevant experience



•           Previous experience working in a recruitment/HR capacity

•           Experience of working in a confidential environment

•           Conducting presentations to large and small audiences

•           Experience of working within a busy customer service focused function



•           Recruitment & Selection procedures

•           Awareness of current employment legislation and best practice

•           Working knowledge of spreadsheets and monitoring

•           General awareness of equality and diversity issues in the working environment

•           Awareness of workplace health & safety issues

•           Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection/Freedom of Information issues
